You can use the Cargo Identify form to identify cargo lots and assign them unique IDs. Cargo lot IDs must be unique within a bill of lading (BL). In addition, you cannot identify a Default cargo lot.
When you identify a cargo lot.
When you perform a cargo lot operation if the cargo lot quantity is adjusted to a value less than the work instruction quantity and if you confirm the cargo lot adjustment in the confirmation message dialog, N4 updates the the work instruction quantity to match with the cargo lot quantity.
Assume we have a cargo lot with quantity 100, and it has an existing work instruction for 100. If the lot quantity reduces to 80 when you perform the cargo lot operation (for example, recording damage), N4 updates the work instruction quantity to 80.
If the lot quantity reduces to zero due to any cargo lot operation and if you confirm the adjustment in the confirmation message dialog, N4 deletes the existing work instruction.
